East Austin, a longtime stronghold of the Black community, has another exciting place to raise a glass. A new Black-owned speakeasy has opened in East Austin and it's a vibe. Located inside Victory East restaurant in East Austin, Busy Signal ATX is behind a black curtain with a pay phone wall that bargoers push to enter.
"When you walk in it looks like a diner, but you got to go through the hallway and find the telephone," @ATXAnt said in a TikTok video she took inside the Busy Signal. "It's such a dark and sexy space."
