Bizniz in the front, party in the back is a motto we very much *do not* live by at Cosmopolitan... I mean, why restrict yourself when you can have a 360-degree party, hey?! But one person channelling said all-round-ness is English singer and TV personality, Alesha Dixon. She's channelling Brit restraint at the front but the back is saying a lot.
Giving what needs to be gave on this gloomy Monday morning, Alesha reshared her hairstylist, Jay Birmingham's Instagram post to her very own Story, showing off her updo from Friday night.
In his own words, Jay captioned the post: "Sexy at the front .. party at the back. Sleek twisted updo for @aleshaofficial 🪩✨".
As shown, Jay has opted to pull Alesha's tresses back and up while leaving out side-parted strands to frame her face. But what makes this hairstyle so intricate is the twisted knots of hair gathered in a bun at the back of her head. It's, in equal parts, the definition of sexy and sleek. *Chef's kiss*.
Now, as much as we'd love to believe Alesha would have had her hair done as such for an evening stroll through the Tesco shopping aisles (sounds like my kind of night), this lewk was created for a special occasion. Enter: #TheMikeGala.
Alongside fellow A-List celebrities, including Alison Hammond, Jonathan Ross and Louis Theroux, to name just a few huns, Alesha attended friend and fellow rapper, Stormzy's 30th birthday party at the Biltmore Mayfair, LXR Hotels & Resorts.
So, I guess now we just need to work out how to get on a guest list like this so that we can sport our own sexy sleek looks in style...
