Naysha Lopez walked into the werk room of RuPaul’s Drag Race season eight as a former Miss Continental. Despite having that huge reputation to live up to, Lopez stumbled with the season’s first design challenge an ended up being sent home way too prematurely. A few episodes later, Mama Ru decided to bring Lopez back to the show – but just like most returning queens, she didn’t end up lasting long in the competition.
In the years that followed, Lopez has been hosting Drag Race live-viewing parties at Roscoe’s Tavern and also focused on competing for Mr. Continental pageants as his out-of-drag self, Fabian. In 2021, for instance, Fabian won the swimsuit category and finished as the runner-up of the night for the title of Mr. Continental.
Now, Fabian is going into RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 with Continental accolades both in and out of drag, proving that he’s the ultimate “trade of the season” to beat on the show.
