Kilmeena's 'sexy farmer' togs out - The Mayo News

Edwin McGreal

SUNDAY afternoon in Clogher and John Reilly was well wrapped up in his Kilmeena GAA Club livery but plenty of people got to see more of him than ever during the week!
The Kilmeena manager was one of the 23 models for the ‘Irish Farmers Calendar’ and stood bare-chested in two different poses. And happy out he was too!
The pictures were released on Friday, two days ahead of Kilmeena’s ‘make or break’ championship clash with Kiltimagh. It lightened the mood in the dressing room with plenty of slagging coming the way of the manager.
Kilmeena got a draw, which was enough to send them through at Kiltimagh’s expense, so the manager-cum-model was in good form afterwards.
“The boys are having good fun,” he told The Mayo News about the reaction among the Kilmeena players. “As I said, I’m a sexy farmer so I am as well to flaunt it!”
He was put forward for the calendar by his partner, Carlene, and was happy to do it ‘for the craic’.

Charlize Theron had no control over sexy clothes for early film roles - FOX 28 Spokane

Charlize Theron had no control over her what she wore for her roles when she started out as an actress and would often be told to wear outfits that would make look more “f***able in the movie”.

The Oscar winner had no voice on set when she was at the beginning of her career and could sense that she would often be dressed in a way that would exploit her sexuality and femininity, something that she found to be “belittling”.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, she said: “Having some guy make you have a fitting almost in front of them, stuff like that, it’s really belittling.

“When I started, there was no conversation around it. It was like, ‘This is what you’re wearing.'”

Charlize revealed that there was one project she worked on where the male director – who she did not name – made her do “fitting after fitting after fitting” for it.

She added: “It was just so obvious that it was to do with my sexuality and how f***able they could make me in the movie,. And when I started out, that was just kind of the norm.”

Charlize’s early filmography includes ‘Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest’, ‘2 Days in the Valley’, ‘That Thing You Do!’ and ‘Trial and Error’.

Her breakthrough role came in Taylor Hackford’s 1997 horror ‘The Devil’s Advocate’, in which she starred alongside Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino.

In 2004, Charlize won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Patty Jenkins’ movie ‘Monster’.

Kourtney Kardashian shows off her new sexy chain harness after fans slammed her for ‘disgusting’ PDA with T... - The US Sun

KOURTNEY Kardashian has shown off her sexy new harness after being slammed by fans for another show of PDA with Travis Barker.

The reality star and her rocker beau have been packing on the affection, never worrying about where they are or who they're with.

Amid backlash from fans, the Poosh founder took to her Instagram Stories to show off a gift from another famous pal.

She posted a picture of a sexy leather harness, which she got from Avril Lavigne.

Kourtney, 43, gushed: "Omg @avrillavigne I can't wait to wear this."

The mom of three has been rocking an edgier style since she and Travis, 46, were first linked.

Kourtney's post came hours after she shared a video of her Blink-182 drummer husband showing her some serious love in public.

On Friday, Kourtney shared a video of the Blink-182 rock star giving the reality star a kiss.

Only, it wasn't the physical version of her, but rather, a poster of Kourtney, 43, on display outside, as an advertisement for the new season of the family's new season of their Hulu show.

The advertisement was in a very public location, where anyone could walk by and touch it, or worse.

"I don' t care how dirty that is, that's my wife," Travis captioned the video.

TOTALLY GROSS

Critics took to a Kardashian-focused Reddit forum to share their disgust.

"You will never catch me pressing my lips on anything that’s probably been touched by other people," one person commented.

"No wonder he’s always sick. Kissing random a** surfaces like that," another said.

"I see how he keeps getting Covid," a third added.

While one fan stated: "Bruh that thing is probably so dirty."

Just last month, Travis revealed he had contracted Covid, and was forced to quarantine.

This after suffering from the same ailment almost exactly a year prior.

In addition to chatter about their cleanliness, fans have been buzzing about Kourtney and Travis' relationship.

TROUBLE BREWING?

After spotting the duo in the premiere of The Kardashians season two, fans are concerned for the couple.

During the episode, Kris Jenner, 66, hosted a baby shower for her daughter Khloe ahead of the arrival of her newborn son.

The event was lion themed, as the child is a Leo star sign.

The momager's house was covered in jungle decor and festive balloons to celebrate the arrival of Khloe's second child with her cheating ex Tristan Thompson.

All of the Good American founder's female family and friends were in attendance, except for Kendall and Kylie who did not appear on camera.

Fans were shocked to see that Kourtney, 43, had brought along her husband Travis, 46, as he was the only man present for the shower.

Several viewers took to Reddit to discuss the rocker's appearance at what is traditionally a female-only event, slamming it as a "red flag."

"Kravis... People are wondering why Kourt went with Travis to Khloe's baby shower," they wrote, opening up the conversation.

"It’s so codependent! Also, I feel like Kris let Corey attend because it would’ve been weird to have Travis be the only male there…," a second agreed.

"I’ve seen coed showers but it’s usually when the dad is there and his buddies," a third remarked.

A fourth put shortly: "So codependency."

Over the past several months, fans have raised concerns that Travis is being "controlling" in his relationship with Kourtney.

Viewers claimed they had spotted several "red flags" about the rocker's behavior in episodes of the first season of her new Hulu show.

Woman who was fat-shamed texts sexy pics to guy's married father - New York Post

A woman who was fat-shamed by a man she was talking to has sought revenge – but not everyone has agreed with her tactics.

The woman – known online as @milareallysings – revealed she was fat-shamed by “some dude” so she decided to text his father.

“It looks like I’m gonna be his new step mommy,” she joked as she lip synched to Nicki Minaj’s track Super Freaky Girl.

In screenshots of what the woman claims to be text messages between the pair, the college student confirmed it was indeed the target of her revenge before replying “your future girlfriend” when asked who he was being texted by.

“Not sure how my wife would feel about that sort of thing,” the man replied.

Mila said the man’s wife – and son – didn’t have to know.

She attached a handful of photos of herself in addition to the written messages.

Another screenshot showed the man asking more details, including where the TikTok user was from. When he found out where, he said it was a long distance apart.

“I’m in school in Boston currently, I can fly to you,” Mila texted back, adding a wink face to the end of her message.

The man asked her what the pair would get up to if they were together, asking if Mila liked champagne.

“I love champagne and we can do whatever,” she said.

“Let’s start with dinner and some drinks.”

The conversation appeared to continue but Mila said she was no longer speaking to the man’s father, adding she would never actually go through with “homewrecking” a marriage.

She said it was all to prove a point to the man’s son.

The internet was divided – with some accusing the woman of crossing a line.

The flirtatious conversation progressed, with the boy's father asking Mila if she likes to drink Champagne.

Gen Zers insist on wearing sexy clubbing outfits to the office: 'Like who's going to stop me?' - New York Post

In a recent TikTok video, Dani Klarić, a young interior decorator/creative director, gleefully shared her workday outfit: a white miniskirt, a short-sleeve shirt worn totally unbuttoned to reveal a lacy yellow bra and a pair of sheer yellow thigh-high socks.

“If I had a corporate job this is how I would go dressed to work,” the TikToker says confidently in the post, which has garnered more than 200,000 likes. “Like who’s going to stop me?”

Gen Z is getting back to work and back to the office, but they’re not dressing for the part — at least by traditional standards. On TikTok, there are thousands of videos tagged #workoutfits that show Gen Zers and young millennials flaunting office attire — short skirts, sheer tops and sweats — that would have once merited a serious conversation with HR about looking either too casual or too provocative.

The LA brand Reformation has a workwear section on the website with sexy office looks.

“I understand dress codes, but I think they have become outdated,” said Keely Bouroncle, a 31-year-old who lives in Fort Lauderdale and works in a corporate job. Bouroncle, who likes to embrace her figure with form-fitting clothing in bright colors, said it shouldn’t matter what she wears so long as she’s getting her work done.

“How a person dresses is a statement of themselves,” she said. “I want to look good so I feel good.”

Those working in human resources are observing the younger generation’s approach to office dressing with a mixture of consternation and wonder.

“I have noticed a few issues among younger people,” said David Bradshaw, 45, president of Northstar PMO, an outsourcing HR firm based in Boston. He said he’s observed younger workers dressing too casually.

Cindy O’Peka, with O’Peka Human Resources and Consulting in California, has long been in favor of more relaxed dress codes in the office, but she thinks sometimes the new generation sometimes seems more clueless than conscious of what they’re doing.

She’s observed some outfits on younger employees that are much more “appropriate for clubbing” than a professional setting.

“[But] I think they might actually feel like they are dressing up because that was what they wear when they go out,” said the 41-year-old.

Clothing brands, meanwhile, have been quick to note and market to the changing norms. Trend-driven LA brand Reformation caused a stir online last month with an email advertising their ‘work edit,’ with models donning their “office-ready” strappy dresses, cropped blazers and short-shorts.

“Add ‘best dressed’ in the office to your resume,” the email read.

Suzanne Smallshaw, the senior director of fashion and styling at Rent the Runway — a company that rents designer apparel and accessories — told The Post that as workers return to office they’ve noticed the number of rentals of traditional “business formal” attire is almost half what it was in 2019.

“They’re saying goodbye to the basic black suit or sheath, instead opting for more printed, bold options as they return to office,” Smallshaw explained, adding that denim utilization is up 56% since 2020, indicating a more casual workplace.

Bradshaw said that some companies aren’t fighting the cropped blazers and midriffs, and they’re just letting employees wear “pretty much what they want” as a “perk” of sorts. Gen Z may get to have their cake and show off their toned midriff to cubicle mates.

“[Expression] is very important in some industries — especially the creative industries,” he said. “People want to bring not just their work to the table, but their personality and their style and their creativity.”

Atlanta Burger Chain Slutty Vegan Opens in Fort Greene - Eater NY

Slutty Vegan, a vegan burger chain with a cult following, opened in Brooklyn this weekend with a block party that shut down a stretch of Fort Greene and caused New Yorkers from as far as the Bronx to wait in seemingly unending lines for vegan patties, fries, and sweet potato pies. “I didn’t know there were that many vegans in Brooklyn,” someone passing the scene shouted to a friend over the live DJ.

The restaurant at 690 Fulton Street, at South Portland Avenue, is the vegan chain’s seventh location, and only the second to open outside of Georgia. (The first is in Birmingham, Alabama). In Atlanta, where Slutty Vegan got its start as a delivery business in 2018, the brand is known for its celebrity followers — Shaquille O’Neil and Tyler Perry are both outspoken fans — and hours-long lines. In Brooklyn, that reputation apparently preceded itself because fans camped out hours ahead of the noon opening to get a first taste of these vegan burgers and fries.

Jade Gardener, who was first in line on Sunday, arrived at the restaurant with a fold-up chair just before 8 a.m. “I thought I was going to be late,” she said, having seen videos from Slutty Vegan’s other openings online. “At their other locations, people get there really early.” Her efforts were rewarded with a giant yellow “Lucky Slut Ticket” worth one free meal from the new restaurant. She planned to cash in on a One Night Stand, the chain’s most popular burger, which comes with vegan bacon, cheese, and caramelized onions on a Hawaiian bun.

The crowd was overwhelmingly Black, and those standing outside of Slutty Vegan on Sunday morning say the restaurant is about more than meatless burgers, of which there are already many in New York City. “We’re here to show support and love for this Black-owned business,” says Dayja Ferreira, who traveled to Fort Greene from the Bronx for the opening. She’s been following Slutty Vegan online for years, commenting on its Instagram posts, like countless others, begging for a New York location.

Founder Pinky Cole says she settled on Fort Greene after being approached by the owners of Broccoli Bar, a vegan restaurant that previously operated out of the corner space and planned to close. “I’m very intentional about where I put Slutty Vegans,” she says. “It’s either got to be a vegan food desert, an area that is in the heart of gentrification, or an area that is not so attractive to developers.” The Fulton Street restaurant — located in a neighborhood with few vegan restaurants, but plenty of new high-rise developments — checked some of those boxes.

It’s the first of a handful of new locations planned for the growing vegan food brand, including another slated to open in Harlem. The restaurant chain announced its plans to 20 additional locations by the end of 2023 earlier this year, after receiving $25 million in funding from a group of investors that includes Danny Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Investments.

As for the restaurant’s name? “If I were to name this concept Pinky’s Vegan, how many people do you think would have been there?” Cole jokes. “We’re doing the vegan lifestyle in a different way. I’m not telling you that if you eat meat, you’re a bad person. There are no rules to this. We just want you to have a good time.”

Uneeda Lebby, who stood at the back of a line that stretched toward Greene Street just before noon, is on board with the unconventional names that were printed on t-shirts and shouted from megaphones. When asked what she planned to order, she said that she had her sights on a burger with caramelized onions, pickles, and sauce called the Fussy Hussy. “Isn’t it fun to say?” she says.

Cole arrived in Fort Greene fashionably late, around 12:30 p.m., descending the steps of a black Mercedes-Benz sprinter van to a group of fans and flashing cameras waiting for her arrival. A few minutes later, she stood behind a red grand opening ribbon. “Slutty Vegan is no longer an Atlanta love story,” she said to the crowd. “Slutty Vegan is a household name.”

She cut the ribbon, danced through the kitchen, and employees who had traveled from Atlanta to Brooklyn for the opening went to work on the grills, handing out burgers, french fries, and sweet potato pies in paper bags that dripped with vegan grease until they sold out five hours later. Here’s what the opening looked like.

Sexiest Things About Men, According to Madonna, Cher and More - Cosmopolitan

Barbara Walters

“Humor seems a winning trait. I think of Henry Kissinger. I liked him from the day we met for his warmth and self-depracating humor. In that first interview, I asked how it felt for an ex-professor to suddenly be thought of as a swinger. I loved his answer. ‘It’s wonderful,’ he said. ‘Now when I bore people, they think it’s their fault.’ Then there was an interview I did with Clint Eastwood where he was very funny and very smart. When I was asking him personal questions, he started to turn the tables and flirt, and I got all flustered. I remember thinking about him and being aware, as I’m not in most interviews, that he has such a flat stomach and such a tight rear end and, gee, isn’t he attractive? And he was just an attractive, appealing man.”
