Viewers have been slowly getting to know Nico Greetham as a young actor who’s making a name for himself in Hollywood.
From Woodbridge, Virginia, 27-year-old Greetham started his career as a dancer and even auditioned for the tenth season of So You Think You Can Dance. Not only did he make it past that audition, but Greetham went on to be a finalist on the show. After making a few cameos in projects such as Glee, General Hospital, and NCIS over the years, Greetham started to land much more prominent roles in films like Dramarama and The Prom.
In recent years, Greetham made waves for playing Zinn and Paul on American Horror Stories, Cal Cambon on American Horror Story: Double Feature, as well as Nick on Love, Victor. Even though these were either special cameos or recurring characters, Greetham has always stood out with viewers and is definitely gathering some momentum in his acting career.

Timothee Chalamet had all of Venice seeing red on Friday night at the world premiere of “Bones and All.” The actor donned a sparkling backless jumpsuit in a blood-red shade — a cheeky wink to the drama’s central protagonists, two cannibals in love.
The film, which reunites Chalamet with his “Call Me By Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino, lives up to its title with gory attacks and scenes that involve limb-chewing and eating. But despite the uncomfortable subject matter, the audience at the Venice premiere for the movie devoured “Bones and All.” The film received a 8.5-minute standing ovation, the longest and most enthusiastic of the festival so far. (It handily beat the previous record holder “Tar,” a drama starring Cate Blanchett as a tortured composer, which had a 6-minute ovation.)
As the crowds inside the Sala Grande cheered “Luca! Luca!,” the Italian director wiped tears from his eyes. Chalamet and the cast — including Taylor Russell, who plays the film’s anti-heroine Maren — walked down the steps of the theater’s mezzanine to welcome the crowd in the orchestra showering them with so much applause. And Chalamet encouraged the clapping to continue as he held up pieces of paper with Guadagnino and Russell’s names on them, meant to reserve their seats, to cue more applause.
Chalamet plays Lee, a pale young man who embarks on a road trip with a woman he meets who shares an equally troubled past. The odyssey is marked with self-exploration and murder (with a tone that suggests what you’d get if Guadagnino had been tapped to direct one of the “Twilight” films). In one scene set at a carnival, Lee seduces a man, suggesting that he’s bisexual (or maybe pansexual), but he eventually falls in love with Maren.
“Bones and All” is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis. Guadagnino’s “Suspiria” writer David Kajganich adapted the script. The supporting cast includes Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Jessica Harper, Chloë Sevigny, Francesca Scorsese and David Gordon Green.
Notably, “Bones and All” is Guadagnino’s first movie shot in the United States. It also marks a reunion between the director and Chalamet, who became one of the youngest best actor Oscar nominees in history thanks to his work on their first collaboration “Call Me By Your Name.” Guadagnino has called Chalamet’s role in “Bones and All” a heartbreaker.
“The second I read it, I said, I think only Timothee can play this role,” Guadagnino said in an interview last year. “He’s fantastic, a great performer and to see him soaring the way he is doing now, I feel proud of him. And this character is something very new for him, both endearing and heartbreaking.”
Guadagnino has had a rich history with the Venice Film Festival. His directorial debut “The Protagonists” debuted at the 1999 festival. His films “I Am Love,” “A Bigger Splash” and “Suspiria” also world premiered at Venice.
MGM is releasing “Bones and All” in theaters on Nov. 23.
In The Patient, the great new Hulu show from the creators of The Americans, Steve Carell plays Dr. Alan Strauss. His silver hair is immaculately coiffed, and his salt-and-pepper beard has not a single hair out of place. He’s friendly, warm, and easy to talk to, all the perfect elements of a great therapist. He even wears a comforting cardigan.
Despite his innocuous, calming nature, things don’t go particularly well for Dr. Strauss. He awakens one morning chained to a bed in the basement of one of his patients, who demands the therapist help curb his unstoppable desire to kill.
In a show where he’s prisoner to a killer, desperate to escape alive, Carell comes across as one thing: sexy. Yes, what I'm saying is that Steve Carell has absolutely never been hotter than he is in The Patient, a very un-sexy show.

I know that may sound…unhinged, but hear me out: I simply couldn't stop thinking about how tremendously handsome Carell as Dr. Strauss is, even as he spends the series chained to a bed in a murderer's basement. Or, honestly, maybe that’s one of the many reasons why.
Since The Patient is a deliciously twisty two-hander, we spend a tremendous amount of time with Carell's Dr. Strauss. It’s our most intimate look at Carell as a performer since he was on The Office, and it’s a phenomenal experience. He has never felt more tantalizingly accessible than he has here—and no, that’s not because he’s unable to leave the room he’s stuck in. Carell is so hot as Strauss not only of his dreamy looks and fatherly charisma, but because he’s open, honest, and strives every day to be a better person. He’s not a victim, despite his situation, and he’s not a martyr either. Instead, he’s a fully realized person.
The show makes it clear that Strauss is by no means perfect. He’s had difficulties in keeping his family together, and at times, it's threatened to consume him. This vulnerability is vital to getting to what makes this character so desirable. Perfection is nice to think about, but it gets boring quickly, and how can anybody develop further in life if they’re (allegedly) perfect?
That said, he definitely looks perfect. Strauss is beautifully put together, the kind of guy that takes a certain pleasure in taking care of himself. I can see him taking the time to get a mani-pedi, opting for a more expensive haircut, and some artisan beard oil to keep everything looking fresh. Carell is rarely seen in movies or on television with facial hair, and his salt and pepper beard looks so swelteringly sexy that it’s a marvel it hasn’t prominently featured in every single appearance, and it also feels like there’s a chiseled jawline just waiting to be unleashed beneath it.
The show has an almost playful self-awareness about how handsome he is. Strauss definitely knows he’s a good-looking guy, but he’d never dream of flaunting it: He’s far more interested in listening to your thoughts and lifting you up at every opportunity. A nice guy who isn’t creepy and is a good listener? If you’re not sweating yet, you’re a liar.
While he cares about maintaining a good appearance (and boy, does he!), Strauss never once gives the impression that he’s vain. He’s a family man and a dedicated therapist, first and foremost. Not only does he give the vibe of being a man who will cook you all your favorite meals while listening to your problems, but he’s also ferocious. Yes, Dr. Strauss is clearly ready to eviscerate anyone who crosses you. As they say on the internet, he protec, but he also attac.

If that’s not enough, there’s a scene where he tries to unlock his chains with a plastic fork with such ferocity and energy that I almost passed out from how hot I was getting. He’s willing to fight for you—and he’s willing to fight for himself, too.
There’s also something specifically about Carell’s character here that makes me so hot and bothered: Strauss is Jewish. His recently deceased wife was even the cantor at their synagogue. There will likely be some controversy over Carell, a non-Jewish person, playing a Jewish character, particularly in a role where his Jewish identity is so important. But Carell’s performance is never offensive; his approach to playing a Jewish American man is empathetic and thoughtful. Most importantly, it allows me as a Jewish person to live in the fantasy of bringing this version of Steve Carell home to my parents, who would be ecstatic that I've brought a lovely, successful, Jewish therapist home. It's a win for everyone!
Watching the actor play such a complex, unyieldingly hot character like Dr. Strauss got me thinking about what Carell is like outside of my fantasies. He is practically non-existent on social media; it might just be the sexiest thing about him. I think it’s fair to say that happy, well-adjusted rich people have absolutely no need to tweet about their daily lives, post inconsequential selfies on Instagram, or participate in the latest TikTok trend. Instead, it’s easy to imagine Carell relaxing on his couch, eating something so fancy that I don’t even know it exists, hanging with his kids, and having not a care in the world. His ability to maintain such a private life helps round out the fantasy that Carell is truly the man of my dreams.
Yeah, Steve Carell is a human being, and he probably isn’t as carefree as he is in my dreams. But that’s okay! I’m willing to listen to his problems, as he’ll surely listen to mine. Accounts of those who’ve worked with him have mentioned over and over again how tremendous a person he is, both in front of the camera and off-set. On the podcasts Office Ladies, hosted by Carell’s former The Office co-stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, and The Office Deep Dive, hosted by Brian Baumgartner, all three hosts have waxed poetic about what an incredible guy he is.
Melora Hardin, who played one of Carell’s lovers on The Office, said on The Office Deep Dive, “Immediately, I loved working with Steve… I was so relieved and so grateful and excited whenever the cameras would roll. I felt like Steve was very playful with me on camera as far as his ability to give and take.” Give and take? I need a moment. This praise adds fuel to the sexy fire proclaiming Carell as Hollywood’s secretly hottest hottie.
Except it’s not actually so secret, in my opinion. He may not have the chiseled appearance that gets a guy hired for a major blockbuster, but these days, a six-pack is not required for sexiness. (That said, there’s something mighty tantalizing about Carell’s costuming in The Patient, which lets you believe that he has the musculature to lift you like a barbell.) Lots of people love a nice, funny, awkward guy! Even if that’s not strange unto itself, though, The Patient stands out as the first time Carell has been allowed to be hot. And that’s one of Hollywood’s biggest shames.
Take his most famous role, for instance: everyone's (least-)favorite manager, Michael Scott. While he becomes more likable over the course of The Office, Michael’s very frequently the butt of the joke. He’s mocked by his subordinates for telling absurd jokes, wearing women's suits, and making one terrible decision after another. Even when his smarmy, unflattering Season-One hair makes way for a much more appealing cut—and he ends up sleeping with his hot, powerful boss—Michael is always seen as a goofball.
The times when he’s had the chance to prove his Hollywood heartthrob potential, the films didn’t fully allow it. In The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Carell plays Andy, a dorky tech store worker who hasn’t come anywhere close to having sex, despite very much wanting to. The film takes him through a fun spin on a makeover, the highlight of which comes when he gets his (significant) body hair waxed. It’s hysterical, but the goal is clearly to laugh at Andy, whose experience is amusingly torturous. His transformation is more from “total dork” to “somewhat cute dork” in the film; while there are flashes of sexual energy (he does lose his virginity by the end!), it’s always in the form of a joke.
Carell was even pretty hot during his Office days—it's just that no one would let him embrace it.

In Crazy, Stupid Love, Carell is a recent divorcé that gets help from a sex connoisseur (Ryan Gosling) to become the kind of guy that all ladies want to sleep with. It’s the closest Hollywood has come to acknowledging Carrell’s sexual charisma. But it’s swallowed up by this concept of Cal being a loveable, comforting doofus, someone who needs legitimate hunk Gosling to teach him how to get laid. In these films, Carell needs a makeover to gain any sort of attractiveness; in The Patient, he gets to look sexy and suave from the first shot.
The Patient isn’t just a fantastic opportunity to showcase what a wonderful actor he is, but it's also a golden opportunity to announce to the world that Steve Carell is incredibly sexy. If The Patient, a show where Carell is a freaking prisoner fighting for survival can embrace his hot guy era, it’s time for other projects to take notice. Long live our sexy, vulnerable, and maybe even attainable king.
While BTS continue upon the “Chapter 2” in their careers, group leader RM makes his latest move by teaming up with the award-winning Korean musical collective Balming Tiger.
The self-described “multinational alternative K-pop band,” Balming Tiger is made up of nearly a dozen different creatives — including musicians, producers, directors, visual artists and writers — working together since 2018 to represent the younger generation and popularize Asian culture on a global level. While the members simultaneously balance their own projects and careers, Balming Tiger releases feature various members coming together with new single “Sexy Nukim” marking their first in a year-and-a-half.

For their new hip-hop track “Sexy Nukim,” Balming Tiger brought rappers Omega Sapien (who recently featured Vernon of SEVENTEEN on a track), genre-hopping MC and songwriter Mudd the student (who scored a No. 1 hit in Korea after appearing on the popular hip-hop competition Show Me the Money), and rising producer-rapper bj wnjn, who was the main producer behind the single. Balming Tiger adding RM on their track marks the first time the collective has had an outside artist with a vocal feature.
Omega Sapien, Mudd the student, bj wnjn and RM all wrote on the track while Balming Tiger producer San Yawn — who’s known to be a friend of RM and has been in pictures on the star’s Instagram — acted as creative director for the project and co-produced the song.
Like an experimental indie film, the accompanying music video to “Sexy Nukim” is a multifaceted visual experience boasting a cinematic storyline, clever pop-culture references, plus trippy camera effects and cuts. Fans of Balming Tiger can also catch cameos from other members of the collective alongside the featured rappers. The video was directed by Japanese director Pennacky, who won Music Video of the Year alongside Balming Tiger at the 2020 Korean Hip-Hop Awards for “Armadillo.”
In a press release for the new single, Balming Tiger says, “We wanted to show ‘Asian sexy’ and ‘Asian cool’ through the music and visuals of the new single.” With more than seven million views across the four video teasers the group shared on Instagram ahead of the drop, no doubt the message will be well received and further boosted by RM’s global profile spotlighting a fully independent music collective from Korea.

Co-sleeping with your kids can be so wonderful…sometimes. But all parents have needs, and some of those can’t be fulfilled with a baby in your bed. Namely, sexy time (although watching your tv shows comes in a close second). One dad on Reddit complained about his toddlers blocking sexy time with his wife, and the story was so relatable!
In the Parenting subreddit, a dad wrote that he has two kids with his wife, ages 3-and-a-half and 1-and-a-half. He explained that his wife has gotten her period back after giving birth, but it is irregular and lasts three out of four weeks, meaning they get “a small window” for sexy time. “With that window,” he writes, “our kids are awake ALL THE DAMN TIME.” Why, oh why, does that always seem to happen?

Parents everywhere are nodding in solidarity. Babies always seem to wake up or start crying or toddle in your room whenever you want to have sex with your partner like they can somehow sense it. It’s uncanny! And it doesn’t seem to get easier the older they get — especially once they learn what sex is and always seem suspicious about what their parents are up to behind closed doors.
The dad explained its hardest with his youngest, who co-sleeps with them. “But my youngest.. she has better ideas,” he wrote. “She literally needs to co sleep. We’ve tried everything, sleep specialists, leaving her crying, putting her down.. she will not sleep unless she is with someone. She has pretty bad eczema so it’s understandable.” Oh man, been there! It’s so hard. Obviously your kids come first, but it’s got to be frustrating when you don’t get a break, ever, because your kids need you all the time.
His oldest daughter normally does well, sleeping through the night during those three weeks his wife is on her period. “But you know the window… she’s awKe.. it’s 9pm and for the last week my wife and I have been planning this.. but kids,” he wrote, adding, “They don’t want an accidental sibling…”
But seriously, how do kids know? Is there something in the air? Can they really sense another sibling coming? Is it just comically bad luck?
Commenters came through with helpful tips.
“Mornings/ lock the bathroom door in the evenings / come home at lunch , put the TV on for them and go for it. You need to be creative here lol,” one person said.
“The wiggles got us through a sesh 😄,” someone said, with another writing, “We used to call them ‘Mickey Quickies’ lol.” Hey, a little screen time never hurt anyone!
Others could relate to the kids’ ability to know when parents try to sneak away.
“I feel your pain. My kids are 3 & 5 yrs and ya…..it’s as if they have Radar in their brains for that,” one person wrote. “They’ll be heavily occupied playing Minecraft together but As Soon as we try to sneak away and have our ‘alone time’, I kid you not within 2 mins they are either yelling our names or at our door knocking/trying to open it….for what you ask? Nothing. They need nothing lol…they literally just want attention.”
Some people suggested embracing period sex if both partners are up for it. “If period is lasting 3-4 weeks, then you’ve gotta just bite the bullet and get into some period sex. Do it in the shower or buy a waterproof pad to protect your mattress,” one person wrote.
“Have you tried mornings rather than evenings? 5am was a good time for us!” one person wrote. The dad commented, “That’s not a bad idea. The co-sleeping thing is a nightmare tho, but might be worth setting an alarm 😂.”
All jokes aside, some people were legitimately concerned about the length of the OP’s wife’s periods. (Note: you should call your doctor if you are bleeding for more than 7 days, per the ACOG.)
“On a slightly more serious note, has your wife talked to her gp about the length of her periods?” someone wrote. “I know we are all different, and when I started getting my period back after having the baby it would last between 5 and 10 days, and would go 2-6 weeks between periods before it settled down.” They added, “And you will get there. Keep trying, even if it’s just cuddles you have time for. And there is nothing wrong with the floor or the sofa 😉 It will get easier (I’ve heard).”
Someone else wrote, “Your wife needs to consult her doctor with the period thing. There is a wide range of normal, but that is truly excessive. She needs to have iron levels checked especially.” They also offered some advice, “We bed share with our children. So for many years we had to get creative. Sex works in other rooms of the house! Who would’a known! We also would do early mornings or even mid day if they’re busy with a movie or playing well. Lock the door. Now that they’re older we have our bed and they will come in after we are asleep if they want to sleep with us, it worked out well.”
But the best comment of all? “I think it’s time to consider a babysitter..” Yes! Plan a getaway with your wife during her no-period week. Hire a babysitter and take her to a hotel if you can to truly pamper her. If not, put on Disney+, lock the door, and hope for the best!
