Megan Fox knows a thing or two about controlling the narrative on social media. And by controlling the narrative, I mean dressing in crazy outfits and doing things that most normal folks would never, in a million years, be able to pull off. This is mostly from the outfit perspective. So it isn’t crazy that her latest Instagram post is a little nuts, but also very on-brand. It looks like it involves a recent trip to New York City and as Megan Fox herself describes it, there is absolute chaos. That feels about how I would sum up the proceedings that have her in a video licking a donut while also with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly who appears covered in blood. And there is other stuff in there and in between.

The Megan Fox Instagram post was closing in on a million likes at the time of this posting and will probably easily reach that number considering it had only been up for about six hours. Some of the imagery is of her as part of a music video, but there are some Getty images included as well, and of course some shots of her and Mr. Machine Gun. And she also threw in a quick SOS remark as well with the post as if there was some help that needed to be sent. It wouldn’t appear all that dire from the looks of things, though I suppose you can judge that one for yourself. Check it out:

Well, there you have it. Some donut licking and New York City galavanting on the part of Megan Fox who has been up to this kind of thing on social media for a while now. Though it’s worth noting that her recent posts have been a bit more toned down seeing as how they’ve been part of a marketing campaign for a Boohoo line of clothing with her name on it. Those pics featured Megan Fox modeling a number of different outfits and looks for the clothing line which is supposed to be for “normal” people. Though the way the actress and model pulled off the looks, it’s hard to imagine just anybody walking down the street in some of these get-ups.

When she isn’t putting it all out there on Instagram, Megan Fox has been picking up steam with the acting work over the last couple of years. While they haven’t all been critical darlings, it isn’t for lack of effort on the production front. In 2021 she starred in a few different flicks including Till Death which earned her solid marks in a flick that she mostly carried. There was also Night Teeth as a vampire queen and Midnight in the Sawgrass though that one failed to pass the muster. 

And then this year, Megan Fox has been in Good News, Big Gold Brick, and Good Mourning with Machine Gun Kelly. Her next big outing will be in The Expendables 4, the last movie for Sylvester Stallone in that franchise before he fully passes the mercenary baton to Jason Statham. That movie is supposed to be out this year.

The original Mass Effect trilogy is just fantastic; great characters, interesting narrative beats, evocative music, and fantastically figure-hugging space suits. Hell, the developers even decided to alter some in game camera angles for the recent remaster because fans were getting too horny. So if you love booty try and source the original version of the games.

Regardless of the beautiful and plentiful butts, the Mass Effect trilogy opens the door to everything from interspecies romance to forbidden workplace drama. The only problem is you can’t pursue everyone in a single playthrough; meaning this sexy game will have you coming back again, and again, and again.

Hades tells a surprisingly satisfying and emotionally resonant story, probably owing a great deal to its source material (ancient Greek mythology). And just like those ageless tales of gods and heroes, there is more flirting, dating and romance than you’d expect.

Taking on the role of Zagreus, you can choose to romantically interact with many of the characters located in the Underworld. Careful though, if you make the wrong choice you might end up in the decidedly unsexy (but still very cute) platonic friendzone, and not a sexy game.

So you like it big…and scary? (Resident Evil Village)

To be clear, Resident Evil Village as a whole isn’t a particularly sexy game. However, there’s one section of the acclaimed horror title that managed to whip the internet into a sexual frenzy of rare ferocity. This dastardly castle, full of blood and wine, is the humble abode of the now infamous Lady Dimitrescu.

Lady Dimitrescu is a giant vampire woman with enough sass to steal hearts, and enough ass to win over everything else. Just be warned, there’s more than sexy vibes lurking in the world of Resident Evil Village.

What do you call a video game that combines the adventure of dungeon crawling with the flirty excitement of a dating simulator? A sexy game, that’s what. Boyfriend Dungeon caused a bit of a stir in the indie video game world in 2021, primarily for it’s hilarious title, but also for the triggering behaviour of its villain.

This shouldn’t distract from the fact that many gamers fell head-over-heels for the game’s whacky central theme (you date your weapons, which conveniently can transform into a human form). This is the kind of sexy game for gamers that are fond of absurdity and a good old-fashioned laugh fest. Trigger warning: creepy stalkers.

Move over trophy wives — house floozies are the new “It” girls.

A TikToker going by the handle @KittieHarloe has gone viral for being a self-proclaimed “house floozy” in a video where she describes the title.

It’s a term she uses to “make fun of” herself, she declares in one of her series of #HouseFloozy clips that have racked up more than 3 million views.

“I’m not a wife — but I have ‘housewife’ proclivities,”Harloe explained. “If you wanna be fun, sexy, cultured and maybe a little bit domestic — you might be a house floozy.”

While Google’s definition of a “floozy” is someone who is sexually provocative with many partners, Harloe said she’s been “booed up” with the same guy for five years — yet loves the term.

While she assures her viewers they “never have to be the most interesting person in the room” or “the most put together person,” to be a floozy is to be sexy.

However, the burgeoning TikTok etiquette guru advised that it could be beneficial “if you can rattle off a few interesting facts about wine, have cultivated your own personal style or happen to spend money on nice things and keep up with them.”

Harloe added, “It’s my hope that these things will help you move through the world more self-assured and empowered.”

TikToker @kittieharloe educates her viewers on what it means to really be a house floozy.

The quippy clip was just another installment of her popular series, where she shares inspiration for “house floozy” dresses, swimwear and other household items.

“If you identify with a single one of my videos, it was made for you,” she said, addressing the men who have supposedly asked her if they, too, can be floozies.

Harloe’s loyal viewers — she has 203,000 regulars as of Wednesday — shower her in praise, heralding her as “inspirational” or even a “big sister.”

“I love this concept and look forward to all your content!! House floozy is so perfect and I do appreciate that you try to be inclusive,” wrote one loyal viewer in the comments section.

“I am a stay at home, house floozy,” another devotee chimed in. “I have no shame in it. I am a bit domestic from time to time. I never wanted a career.”

It’s time to make semiconductors sexy - Protocol

Good morning! The semiconductor industry has an image problem. And that's not good for Samsung, Intel and others that are looking to fill thousands of chips jobs in the next few years.

Chip work rocks

No one thinks semiconductor jobs are cool, which is somewhat fair. “How’s work at Google?” sounds much better than “How's work at the chip fabrication plant?” But chip work needs to get big because Congress is betting on it, Protocol’s Anna Kramer and Max Cherney report.

Almost 30,000 chip jobs are about to open up pending new money from Congress’ CHIPS Act (the legislation’s been delayed). But filling those roles is already proving difficult: Many people in the U.S. aren’t familiar with semiconductor work. That needs to change.

• New chip fabs from Samsung, Intel and others are on track to open sometime in 2024, and they need homegrown talent to fill those factories.
• But because chip work is unpopular around here, engineers from Taiwan and other countries with talent in the semiconductor industry will likely need to immigrate to the U.S. Given the U.S.’s track record with immigration, that’s going to be tricky, too.

The good news is that chip work is lucrative and exciting. Young U.S. workers just need to understand that.

• Proximity to chip companies helps. Anna and Max spoke with one worker who got into semiconductor work through programs at his university that act as pipelines into the industry.
• Exposing students to chips in the same way they’re taught about engineering or coding could also push more people into the field.

Training enough U.S. workers for these new semiconductor jobs is a hurdle. But Anna told me a common refrain among academics and companies alike: try to make chipmaking sound just as exciting as any other job at a Big Tech company. And start ’em young. "[The semiconductor industry] needs a PR makeover, essentially, to entice people to see it as cool and sexy. People need to understand that it's not a boring manufacturing job. It's extra creative and challenging. That involves getting people really young, which isn't really being done yet," Anna told me.

Acquisition discounts

Robinhood’s shares were rocked by rumors that it might be exploring an acquisition to crypto exchange FTX. Though both companies denied it, this could be the start of more mergers and acquisitions industrywide.

The once high-flying Robinhood has fallen from grace. Its share prices have plunged about 29% since April when Goldman Sachs downgraded it to sell, and shares are down 90% from the company’s all-time high of $85 per share. Given the state that Robinhood is in, FTX — or anyone with enough cash — could scoop it up at a decent price. That is, if FTX could convince its founders to sell.

With slumping tech stocks and a looming recession, more deal activity could be on the horizon. As valuations tumble, other firms could be looking to take advantage and buy at lower prices.

• Zendesk, for example, rejected a $17 billion acquisition in February. The all-cash transaction would’ve valued the company around $127 to $132 per share.
• But after its share prices tumbled in early June, investment firms agreed to buy the company for $10.2 billion in cash, or $77.50 per share, a 34% premium on its closing price on Friday.

Cash is king, so those deals may proliferate. Stock deals will be trickier: Companies may be reluctant to swap their own shares for another business if they think their stock is too cheap. This makes the tech acquisition market, as Protocol Fintech editor Owen Thomas told me, “easier and harder, simultaneously!”

Ricky Martin is ready to Play.

On Monday, June 27, Martin shared a sexy photo teasing the next single from his upcoming EP, Play. The EP still doesn’t have a release date, but it will serve as the sequel to 2020’s Pausa.

The Puerto Rican superstar wrote on Instagram:

“In this photo, a little tease of what the video of my next single is going feel like. It was a really long day, but everything flows amazingly well when surrounded by the right group of people. Nothing but love and light throughout the day. The energy felt strong. (…) Get ready for #PLAY.”

It is still unclear what the song will be called, but judging by this picture, Martin is about to show quite a lot of skin in this new music video.

The popstar has released three singles from Play thus far. He first put out “Qué Rico Fuera” and “Otra Noche en L.A.” Then, most recently, Martin dropped the romantic ballad “A Veces Bien Y A Veces Mal,” which was a collaboration with Reik.

Sexy but smelly 'penis' flowers bloom in time to stink up the summer - New York Post

Two of America’s rare penis flowers went soft as quickly as they popped up last week.

A pair of the world’s biggest, stinkiest botanicals bloomed at gardens in California last week — unleashing a potent stench of dead flesh that emanates from their phallic centers.

Also called the corpse flower — in reference to its rancid, odiferous qualities — the giant plant grows up to 12 feet high, though its nightmarish bud returns only sporadically, sometimes with decades between blooms.

Once they finally appear, their rank debut lasts only a few days — which had flower seekers flocking to the Huntington Museum in San Marino and San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers, reported SFist last week.

The conservatory — which named its penis flower Chanel the Titan — offered a real-time livestream of the evocative event on June 17. Now the camera shows only a flower whose spadix has flopped over its foreskin-like petal, called a spathe.

Soon after, the Huntington shared a time-lapse video of its flower unsheathing on June 19 before ultimately going limp earlier this week.

The New York Botanical Gardens’ own penis flower bloomed two years in a row in 2019 and 2018, as well as 2016. Meanwhile, the spectacular sighting has become one of the most sought-after attractions among garden-goers globally.

To more civilized scientists, the penis/corpse flower is referred to as titan arum, short for its scientific name, Amorphophallus titanum — which literally refers to the phallus, as greenhouse manager Rogier van Vugt said last year when the penis flower he was looking after in the Netherlands bloomed for the first time in 25 years.

“The name amorphophallus actually means ‘shapeless penis,’ ” van Vugt said at the time. “But with a little imagination, you can indeed see a penis in the plant. It has in fact a long stem and on top is a typical arum with veins. And then in the center, there is a thick white spadix.”

But the titan arum isn’t the only botanical tourist attraction with a raunchy title. Authorities in Cambodia recently issued a warning to fans of florals, asking them to stop poking and plucking their native and endangered erect bloom, the Nepenthes holdenii, or “penis plant.”
